“Alight”

Alight

Part of the May 25′ Collection, Alight presents a close-up view of a hoverfly delicately perched on a bright yellow yarrow flower. The composition is shallow and intimate, with a narrow depth of field isolating the central bloom against a soft blur of golden umbels and green stems. The insect appears motionless mid-forage, its fine details crisply rendered beneath diffused daylight. The background gently dissolves into muted tones, allowing the flower and its tiny visitor to appear suspended, weightless, and wholly absorbed in a moment of quiet activity.
