Part of the April 2025 Collection, Dry Season offers a measured study of Australia’s inland waterways at rest. The gentle arc of the creek winds through sun-bleached grasses and pale gums, each tree rendered with a confident, grounded hand. A palette of ochre, blue-grey, and silver-green reflects the stillness of the season — a landscape shaped by light, time, and repetition. Both observational and expressive, the work resists sentimentality, instead presenting the landscape as it is: open, enduring, and deeply familiar.
