Shelf Life
Part of the April 25′ Bushland Collection, Shelf Life isolates a section of moss-covered tree trunk featuring a large, bracket-shaped fungus. The fruiting body emerges from the bark at a horizontal angle, its smooth underside contrasting with the rough, flaking surface of the host tree. Layers of green moss climb across both the trunk and surrounding limbs, softening the coarse textures beneath. The lighting is diffused, revealing subtle variations in surface tone and moisture without deep shadow. The composition draws attention to form, growth, and the layered structure of forest life at close range.
Prints include the print only and do not come with a frame.
