Part of the October 25′ By The Wind Collection, Sunken Drift captures the haunting nature of life. This is represented by a mysterious ship’s limited remains, slowly but unavoidably steering into the restless sea beneath a sky painted in a rough bleeding cherry, amber and amethyst. The horizon glows with the distant fleeting of daylight, its light spilling across the water in fractured golden hues. Seabirds circle the sky, their small frame highlighted by the glow of the sun. Their flight becoming a reminder of continuity amid loss. The scene holds both melancholy and grace, where ruin becomes a quiet silhouette of a time long ago where star fish and sea waves crashing against where people once walked.
